Today, the only legal means of using Cannabis as part of your health care treatment is by having a doctor write a prescription and signing up with one of Canada's Licensed Producers.  Unfortunately, even today, most health care practitioners are reluctant to fill a prescription to allow their patients to be able to use medical marijuana as an alternative to some pharmaceuticals.
